Peña Colorada - Mexico

Peña Colorada is a community led producer group that is coordinated
by Felipe Palacios who is a retired teacher from the Mazateca. Working
closely with Felipe, the importers Raw Material are aiming to open up
access to the specialty market for producers in the area and to provide
a sustainable and profitable supply chain for their coffee.

Farms that contribute to this coffee range in size from 0.5 to 4 hectares,
with most producers yielding just 100kg of parchment each year. This is
our second time buying this coffee and we’re so excited to start the year
with a Mexican coffee we all know and love.

You can expect a sweet, juicy coffee with notes of Baked Pear,
Honeydew Melon and Nutella.
