Huehue sits in western Guatemala near the Mexican border—a remote, mountainous region with serious altitude and hot, dry winds rolling in from Mexico. Those conditions perfect for growing excellent coffee. The roads are rough and farms are spread out, so most growers like Catarina process their coffee right at home rather than hauling it to a central mill. The area has deep roots too—it was once the heart of Mam culture, with the ancient capital Zaculeu still standing in the city today. It's a place where geography and tradition shape everything about the coffee that comes from here.

Every cherry is hand-crafted through meticulous dry-fermentation and sun-drying at their local wet mill. Beyond producing exceptional coffee, Finca Gomez sustains the community through employment and local livelihoods.
