As a Food Lead at Cairngorm Coffee you'll need to be an organised and hands-on person who takes real pride in the food they put out and enjoys being part of a hard-working team. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all food prepared and served in the café, ensuring consistency and quality across every plate.
• Maintain clear standards for prep, presentation and service, and support the team with knowledge of dishes, ingredients and allergens.
• Place orders and manage stock levels across all food storage areas, minimising waste through good organisation and planning.
• Maintain food safety records and ensure compliance with HACCP, keeping kitchen and storage areas clean, organised and inspection-ready at all times.
• Support and guide team members involved in food prep and service, and communicate clearly with Front of House to keep things running smoothly.
• Set an exceptional tone for food standards, taking pride in the quality and consistency of what you put out. We're talking attention to detail, awareness of costs and waste, and the understanding that working hard together makes the team stronger and better.
• Contribute ideas for new dishes, specials and seasonal updates, balancing creativity with workflow, cost and operational constraints.
• Play your part in the team by staying hands-on in prep and service, not just overseeing it.

As a Vibemaster at Cairngorm Coffee you’ll need to be an energetic and enthusiastic person who likes to get their hands dirty and enjoys being part of a hard-working team. You’ll be interchangeable with the ‘Tillmaster’ (helping to serve customers and take orders), and as a duo work to ensure the atmosphere within the cafe is fantastic. You’ll do this by ensuring that efficient, professional and friendly customer service is delivered at all times, creating a memorable experience on every occasion. 

You are responsible for the appearance of the shop, happiness of your customers, and ensuring the atmosphere in the shop is fantastic.
