OREA WAVE

Many people have asked us for our own wave-shaped paper filter since we got started, but truthfully, it was always hard to find something better than what we could find on the market. As such, we kept searching rather than releasing something sub-standard. After searching for many years, we found a paper we were happy to offer under our own brand. The paper construction is quite thick but also porous, which helps improve performance compared to alternatives. We didn't like this paper in a flat format, but loved it in a wave shape - where its properties really shine. 

The wave paper is the simplest filter method allowing you to just grab one, throw it in, and start brewing. If you want to expand and test many paper styles - for faster or higher extraction brews, we've got your back too with the Negotiator system. If you just want something simple, then this wave paper is for you. 

OREA FLAT

Also known as the OREA TYPE G papers, these are our general purpose flat paper filters. They are not super fast, but also not super slow. They come textured on one side and smooth on the other, designed for adequate filtration. Place the textured side to touch the brewer, and the smooth side to touch the paper for the best results. These papers require the use of a tool like the Negotiator, to be able to sit the paper inside the brewer for a low-bypass brewing environment. We invented this method almost 4 years ago now, and it has gained in popularity due to the clean, sweet, juicy cups it can produce with relatively low effort paper prep.
