We've been on this coffee journey for quite a while, and our dedication and expertise have grown naturally over time. Cairngorm was founded by Robi back in 2014 around a kitchen table in Newtonmore.
Back then the goal was simple: to make the best coffee we could without alienating people.
Fast forward over 11 years, and we're still exploring the ever-evolving world of coffee. The teams commitment to delivering excellent coffee and memorable experiences remains as genuine as ever and we're proud to be a part of Scotland's coffee community, always striving to bring great coffee to more people.

We're all about forging genuine connections with our importers and, when the opportunity arises, directly with coffee producers. It's been a privilege to meet many of the individuals we partner with, even inviting some to join us for cupping sessions at our roastery or cafe.

Our methodology harnesses the power of technology, employing sophisticated graphs and sensors. This data-driven approach doesn't replace the wealth of experience our team holds but rather complements it.
In the heart of our operation stands our cherished 12kg Probat coffee roaster. Each roast is crafted to achieve the perfect balance of sweetness and juiciness. At least once a week we gather around for a cupping session, ensuring that every cup delivers a coffee we would feel excited to drink ourselves.
