Scotland is home, and serving its communities is one of the greatest joys of what we do. Every Cairngorm location has its own character and loyal locals, but the heart behind each one is the same: good coffee, good people and spaces that feel welcoming.

1 Melville Place, EH3 7PR
Monday - Saturday / 7am-7pm
Sunday / 8am-7pm
Since 2016, our West End café has been a small corner of Edinburgh with a brightness and buzz that feels bigger than the space itself. The Georgian frontage and those wide panoramic windows fill the room with light, giving mornings a lively spark before things soften into a cosy calm later in the evening.
We serve four espressos each day along with a rotational batch brew, all chosen with care and brewed as thoughtfully as we can. Pair that with a toastie and a seat by the window and you have a simple, comforting place to watch the city go about its day. We feel genuinely lucky to call it home.

Monday - Sunday / 9am-5pm
Ralia began more than twenty years ago with the same family behind Cairngorm today. Now in its second generation, we are proud to carry that story forward. The setting is still as beautiful as ever and we want to honour what has always made it special while introducing our mission to a new wave of people passing through the Cairngorms.
It is a place where locals, travellers and regulars meet in the middle of the Highlands for something good to eat, something thoughtful to drink and a moment to pause before the road carries them on. We feel grateful to be part of its past and excited for what comes next.

The General Store is our way of sharing a more contemporary side of Scottish gifting. We take a lot of pride in choosing things that feel authentic, thoughtful and beautifully made, offering visitors and locals a glimpse of Scotland that feels modern yet deeply rooted.
Most of the brands on our shelves are ones we have loved and bought ourselves for years, which makes curating the space feel personal in the best way. Set on the same land as our Cairngorm site, the store is here to make your stop a little slower, a little nicer and hopefully a little more enjoyable.

Our roastery sits just outside Edinburgh, a short wander from the beaches of Portobello, and it has been our home since 2023. It is where all the behind the scenes work happens, from tasting and refining every roast to packing each bag with care before it heads out into the world.
We cup our coffees weekly, tweak what needs tweaking and try to stay curious about how we can keep improving. The space also holds a small co working area for our team, a place where ideas are shared, argued over, laughed about and eventually turned into something we are proud to serve.
The roastery is not open to the public, but we are always happy to welcome people by appointment. If you would like to talk wholesale, see where the magic happens or simply chat about coffee, just get in touch and we will make it happen.

Our Espresso Cart is our way of bringing Cairngorm Coffee to the moments that matter, without any fuss. Over the years we have embraced all sorts of unexpected challenges, from setting up a café inside the Scottish Rugby team hotel during their campaigns to squeezing ourselves into “The World’s Smallest Coffee Shop™” at Glasgow Coffee Festival. It has taught us to stay adaptable, curious and up for giving most things a go.
Alongside our event work, we also host regular cuppings across the UK, sharing what we love about coffee with cafés, teams and anyone who enjoys tasting something new. Meeting people, talking about what we do and learning from others has always been at the heart of it.
If you would like to explore what we can do together, you can find more on our events page.
