Underdog is our self published zine and a love letter to Scottish coffee. It celebrates the people, places and ideas that shape coffee culture across the country, especially those doing great work outside the spotlight.

This 36 page issue features stories on the growth of coffee in rural Scotland, a day in the life of a coffee roaster, coffee tech and life beyond the cafe. It’s thoughtful, curious and rooted in the reality of the industry we care about.

The £1 cost is a donation to help us keep Underdog going, but you can grab one for free from cafes around Scotland. We hope it encourages you to support local independent operators, so go and pick up a coffee while you’re there and enjoy the read.
